The Company We Keep

Keeping with “The Company We Keep” theme from my photog trips – I wanted to share some candid and portrait images of the guys from our trip to Page and Sedona back in April. This trip started off like my last 2 photo trips – by pure chance… A band that I am really into, “A Day To Remember” released their concert schedule and of course there were no tour dates in my area here in Florida. As I was checking, I was also chatting with my buddy Mike and also noticed that they were playing in Tempe at the end of April. I had mentioned that I would love to do another trip out there and then stay for the concert. That’s when Mike mentioned that Jesse, Brian, and Heath were coming out out to shoot a wedding with a follow on trip to Page and Sedona. Luck would have it that I also had a airline voucher expiring at the end of the month, so I booked the trip!

This was a little different than the last 2 trips I took in there was less focus on shooting landscapes and more on shooting portraits. All these guys are fantastic wedding and lifestyle photographers, so I guess it is natural for them What’s insane is that I have spent a few days with each of them but getting together feel like we have been friends for years. Ain’t social networking amazing?

We shot a ton of pictures, laughed, cannonballed, listened to tunes, made fun of Canada, drank beers, and had an absolute blast; even if we were going on less than 4 hours of sleep! Can’t wait for the next adventure!
